Charitable objects
3.1 To promote the work of and to assist in the carrying on of education at Malvern College, or at any other Educational Establishment not conducted for profit and wheresoever situated, which in the opinion of the Charity is carrying on, or can be expected to carry on, the traditions of the English Public Schools (hereinafter called a “Qualifying Educational Establishment”); and to promote the continuation of education of a type and character similar to that provided at Malvern College in accordance with the terms of the Royal Charter providing for Malvern College. 3.2 To assist Old Malvernians in cases of need where their parents or guardians are financially unable to make provision for them, to train for and enter any profession or trade or to pursue research work or take post-graduate courses. “Malvern College" means that school known as Malvern College; “Old Malvernian” means a person who has attended Malvern College or any school wherever situated identified for the time being by the Directors as a Malvern School for the purpose of its pupils becoming Old Malvernians.
