THE OBJECT OF THE CIO, TO BE CARRIED OUT FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN STIFFKEY, NORFOLK AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, IS: TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF PERSONS WHO ARE IN NEED BY REASON OF SICKNESS, OLD AGE OR SOCIAL ISOLATION, THROUGH THE PROVISION OF: (A) A COMMUNITY TRANSPORT SERVICES TO ASSIST WITH ATTENDING MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS, ACCESSING SOCIAL CARE AND RESPITE SERVICES, DAY CENTRES AND OTHER COMMUNITY-BASED OPPORTUNITIES FOR SOCIAL INTERACTION; (B) A COLLECTION AND DELIVERY SERVICE FOR MEDICATION AND OTHER ESSENTIAL ITEMS; (C) MOBILITY AIDS AND SANITARY ITEMS FOR SUCH PEOPLE WHO ARE IN FINANCIAL NEED; (D) SIGNPOSTING TO OTHER STATUTORY AND VOLUNTARY SERVICES.
