THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF MERROW AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS: (A) TO PROMOTE THE AMATEUR SPORT OF LAWN TENNIS; AND (B) TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION, IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE LEARNING, TEACHING AND PLAYING OF LAWN TENNIS.
