TO APPLY THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY FOR THE BENEFIT OF PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 25 YEARS WHO ARE RESIDENT OR WHO HAVE A PARENT OR PARENTS RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF THE ANCIENT TOWNSHIP OF WOODHOUSE AND WHO ARE IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IN ONE OR BOTH OF THE FOLLOWING WAYS: (A) IN ASSISTING SUCH PERSONS WHO ARE PREPARING FOR OR ENTERING UPON ANY PROFESSION, TRADE, OCCUPATION OR SERVICE BY PROVIDING THEM WITH OUTFITS OR BY THE PAYMENT OF FEES, TRAVELLING OR MAINTENANCE EXPENSES OR BY SUCH OTHER MEANS FOR THEIR ADVANCEMENT IN LIFE OR TO ENABLE THEM TO EARN THEIR LIVING AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT, (B) IN OTHERWISE PROMOTING THE EDUCATION (INCLUDING SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL TRAINING) OF SUCH PERSONS.
