Charitable objects
1) THE RELIEF OF PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT WHO ARE IN NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS; 2) TO FURTHER THE RELIGIOUS AND OTHER CHARITABLE WORKS OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT; AND 3) TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION OF PERSONS UNDER THE AGE 27 WHO ARE IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND WHO ARE RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT, OR WHO ATTEND, OR HAVE ATTENDED FOR A PERIOD OF AT LEAST 2 YEARS, A SCHOOL OR COLLEGE IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT. FIRST PREFERENCE SHOULD BE GIVEN TO THOSE PERSONS WHO ARE RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT. 4) THE TRUSTEES MAY RELIEVE PERSONS IN NEED BY: A) MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY TO THEM; OR B) PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR GOODS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES FOR THEM; OR C) MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY TO OTHER PERSONS OF BODIES WHO PROVIDE GOODS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES TO THOSE IN NEED.
