Charitable objects
THE PAYMENT OF SUCH YEARLY SUM AS THE GOVERNORS THINK FIT TOWARDS THE COST OF ALTERNATIONS AND REPAIRS TO THE PREMISES OF THE SCHOOL AND SCHOOL HOUSE. THE RESIDUE OF THE INCOME SHALL BE APPLIED IN ANY OF THE FOLLOWING WAYS: (A) PROVISION OF ASSISTANCE FOR HIGHER EDUCATION BY MEANS OF SCHOLARSHIPS, BURSARIES OR MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCES TENABLE AT ANY UNIVERSITY OR ANY OTHER PLACE OF LEARNING APPROVED BY THE GOVERNORS, OR IN PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO ENABLE BENEFICIARIES TO PREPARE FOR, OR TO ENTER, A PROFESSION, TRADE OF CALLING OR IN AWARDING SCHOLARSHIPS OR MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCES TO ENABLE BENEFICIARIES TO TRAVEL ABROAD TO PURSUE THEIR EDUCATION OR TO STUDY MUSIC OR OTHER ARTS; (B) PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO ANY VOLUNTARY ORGANISATION HAVING CHARITABLE OBJECTS DIRECTED TOWARDS EDUCATING OR IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF BENEFICIARIES BY DEVELOPING THEIR PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND MORAL CAPACITIES THROUGH THEIR LEISURE-TIME ACTIVITIES; OTHERWISE PROMOTING THE EDUCATION OF BENEFICIARIES; (C) PROVIDING RELIGIOUS EDUCATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DOCTRINES OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND AT THE SCHOOL.
