Charitable objects

THE PROVISION IN EACH YEAR OF A PRIZE TO BE AWARDED TO THE STUDENT AT THE RUGBY COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY, OR SUCH INSTITUTION OF FURTHER EDUCATION AS THE SAID COLLEGE MAY HEREAFTER BECOME OR FORM PART, WHO SHALL, IN THE OPINION OF THE GOVERNORS OF THE COLLEGE HAVE THE BEST ACHIEVEMENT IN THE SECOND YEAR OF HIS STUDIES IN PURE AND APPLIED SCIENCE AND IF IN ANY YEAR MORE THAN ONE SUCH STUDENT SHALL IN THE OPINION OF THE SAID GOVERNORS BE OF EQUAL MERIT THE SAID PRIZE SHALL BE DIVIDED EQUALLY BETWEEN THEM.
