(1) TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION OF PERSONS WHO: ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 25; AND ARE IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE; AND HAVE A CONNECTION WITH THE CITY OF YORK AND THE SURROUNDING AREA (“THE AREA OF BENEFIT”); AND HAVE AT ANY TIME ATTENDED A SCHOOL IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT. (2) THE LAND IDENTIFIED IN PART 1 OF THE SCHEDULE (NUN MONKTON SCHOOL) MUST BE RETAINED BY THE EDUCATION TRUSTEES FOR USE AS A SCHOOL WITHIN THE MEANING OF THE EDUCATION ACTS.
