Charitable objects
THE OBJECT OF THE ASSOCIATION SHALL BE TO ADVANCE EDUCATION OF YOUNG PERSONS BETWEEN THE AGES OF 8 AND 18 YEARS OF AGE WHO ARE RESIDENT IN OR NEAR COVENTRY BY TRAINING THEM IN THE PLAYING OF STEEL BAND INSTRUMENTS PROVIDED THAT IN EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MAY EXTEND THE BENEFITS OF THE ASSOCIATION TO YOUNG PERSONS RESIDENT IN COVENTRY WHO ARE FORMER MEMBERS OF PHASE ONE UP TO THE AGE OF 21 YEARS.
