TO RELIEVE DOMESTIC ANIMALS OF ALL KINDS WITHIN THE STONE AND DISTRICT AREA, WHICH ARE SUFFERING BY REASON OF SICKNESS OR OF CRUELTY, NEGLECT OR ADVANCEMENT BY THEIR OWNERS, OR WHOSE OWNERS BY REASON OF THEIR SOCIAL OR ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES ARE NO LONGER ABLE TO CARE FOR THEM.
