The Sidewalk Youth Organisation has been working in Scarborough for over 30 years, and was founded by Churches Together in 1989. Sidewalk's emphasis is on meeting the needs of young people where they are. We aim to provide ongoing support and informal education for young people, with a view to building better communities. Our focus is Detached Youth Work, Mentoring and Creative Group Work.

Charitable objects
TO SUPPORT AND ASSIST YOUNG PEOPLE UP TO THE AGE OF 25 TO ENABLE THEM TO MAKE INFORMED CHOICES IN THE AREAS OF EDUCATION, HEALTH, TRAINING INDEPENDENCE AND RECREATION SO THAT THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE MAY BE IMPROVED AND THAT THEY MAY DEVELOP THEIR PHYSICAL MENTAL AND SPIRITUAL CAPACITIES SO AS TO GROW TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY.
