Activities - how the charity spends its money
The Band consists of over 50 young people aged 14 - 18 from Wirral secondary schools, who play to a high standard and preferably will have achieved grade 5 or above in the ABRSM exams (or equivalent). They rehearse weekly during term time and perform formally and informally across Wirral and beyond. They have been invited to perform in the national Music for Youth festival.

TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE ARTS AND SCIENCES PARTICULARLY THE ART AND SCIENCE OF MUSIC FOR YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE WIRRAL AREA BY SUPPORTING WIRRAL BOROUGH COUNCIL IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES AND RESOURCES FOR THE USE OF WIRRAL SCHOOLS CONCERT BAND.
