TO PROVIDE INSTRUCTION AND PRACTICE IN THE USE OF RIFLES AND PISTOLS TO ANY OF HER MAJESTY'S LOYAL SUBJECTS, SO THAT THEY WILL BE BETTER ABLE TO SERVE THEIR COUNTRY IN THE ARMED SERVICES, TERRITORIAL ARMY OR IN ANY OTHER SERVICE, AS MAY BE REQUIRED IN THE DEFENCE OF THE REALM IN TIMES OF PERIL.
