UPON TRUST TO APPLY BOTH THE CAPITAL AND THE INCOME OF THE TRUST FUND TO OR TOWARDS OR FOR THE BENEFIT OF SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES OR CHARITABLE TRUSTS OR INSTITUTIONS IN SUCH PROPORTION AND MANNER AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION THINK FIT AND IN FURTHERANCE OF THIS OBJECT BUT NOT OTHERWISE THE TRUSTEES MAY APPLY THE FUNDS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY OF CHIPPING LANCASHIRE AND ELSEWHERE FOR ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSE PERMITTED BY LAW.
