PROMOTING AND IMPROVING THE HEALTH, SOCIAL WELLBEING AND CONDITIONS OF LIVING OF PERSONS WHO ARE OR HAVE BEEN EMPLOYED IN THE COAL INDUSTRY IN THE COUNTIES OF STAFFORDSHIRE, LANCASHIRE, MERSEYSIDE, GREATER MANCHESTER, CHESHIRE, SHROPSHIRE, CLWYD, GWYNEDD AND POWYS OR IN ACTIVITIES ALLIED TO THOSE OF THE SAID COAL INDUSTRY AND THEIR WIVES, HUSBANDS AND DEPENDENT RELATIVES AND THE WIDOWS, WIDOWERS AND NECESSITOUS RELATIVES OF DECEASED PERSONS WHO ARE IN THEIR LIFETIME EMPLOYED AS AFORESAID.
