TO PROMOTE THE RELIEF OF PERSONS WITHIN THE AREA OF GREAT BRITAIN,WITH PARTICULAR REGARD TO THE COUNTIES OF WARWICKSHIRE AND WEST MIDLANDS,WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM MENTAL OR PHYSICAL ILLNESS, ARRESTED OR INCOMPLETE DEVELOPMENT OF MIND OR BODY AND IN PARTICULAR (WITHOUT IN ANY WAY LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING) BY MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY, CLOTHING OR OTHERWISE TO OR FOR THE BENEFIT OF SUCH PERSONS, BY ARRANGING FOR THEM TO BE VISITED IN HOSPITALS OR OTHER PLACES WHERE THEY ARE FROM TIME TO TIME RESIDING OR UNDERGOING TREATMENT, BY ARRANGING OUTINGS, HOILDAYS AND EDUCATIONAL VISITS, AND BY PURCHASING MEANS OF TRANSPORT AND OTHER EQUIPMENT NECESSARY FOR SUCH OUTINGS.
