TO RELIEVE THE DISABILITY OF SEVERELY MENTALLY HANDICAPPED PERSONS AND FAMILIES OF SUCH PERSONS IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT WHO ARE IN NECESSITOUS CIRCUMSTANCES, THROUGH THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR CARE AND RESPITE CALCULATED TO RELIEVE SUCH DISABILITY AND NEED, INCLUDING THE PROVISION OFFICIALITIES AT 42 SMITH CRESCENT OR ELSEWHERE AS APPROPRIATE AND THROUGH THE PROVISION OF DAY TRIPS OR HOLIDAYS.
