1) PROMOTE THE RELIEF OF PERSONS SUFFERING FROM SICKLE CELL DISORDERS;2) TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN ORDER TO INCREASE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF SICKLE CELL DISORDERS;3) TO PROMOTE RESEARCH INTO THE NATURE, PREVALENCE, TREATMENT AND PREVENTION OF SICKLE CELL DISORDERS AND TO DISSEMINATE AND PUBLISH USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH.
