THE RELIEF WITHIN THE COUNTY OF CLEVELAND OF THE DISTRESS AND SUFFERING EXPERIENCED BY WOMEN WHO HAVE BEEN GRAVELY OR PERSISTENTLY MALTREATED BY THEIR PARTNERS OR BY THE FATHERS OF THEIR CHILDREN OR A MALE RELATIVE AND THE RELIEF OF ANY CHILDREN OF SUCH WOMEN AND TO PROVIDE MEETING PLACES AND TEMPORARY ACCOMMODATION TO WHICH DISTRESSED WOMEN CAN COME FOR AID AND ADVICE.
