1) TO PROVIDE RELIEF AND HELP TO PARENTS AND CHILDREN OF THE PARENT FAMILIES LIVING IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, SICKNESS, HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF SHORT TERM RESIDENTIAL OR DAYTIME CARE FOR SUCH PERSONS. 2) TO PROTECT AND PRESERVE THE HEALTH OF BABIES DEEMED TO BE AT RISK FROM APNOEA-COT DEATH SYNDROME OR OTHER SIMILAR MEDICAL CONDITION IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF RESPIRATION MONITORS.
