TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE APPLICATION OF LASER TECHNOLOGY IN MEDICINE IN PARTICULAR BY:- (A) PROMOTING THE TREATMENT OF HUMAN DISEASE; (B) PROMOTING RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT IN LASER TECHNOLOGY IN AND FOR MEDICINE AND BY THE PUBLICATION OF THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH REAEARCH; (C) ESTABLISHING STANDARDS IN THE MEDICAL APPLICATION OF LASERS; (D) PROMOTING COLLABORTATION AND UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN CLINICAL AND SCIENTIFIC DISCIPLINE IN THE FIELD OF LASER APPLICATION.
