FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE PARISH OF AXMINSTER IN THE COUNTY OF DEVON AS DEFINED IN THE TRUST DEED WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING THE SAID INHABITANTS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHE ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTEREST OF SOCILA WELFARE FO R RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURY-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS.
