TO PROVIDE RECREATIONAL, EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATIONS FOR CHILDREN AND OTHER INHABITANTS OF DAVENTRY AND DISTRICT IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE, THAT THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF SUCH PERSONS MAY BE IMPROVED, SUCH PERSONS HAVING NEED OF THE FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY, OR DISABLEMENT OR SOCIAL OR ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES.
