THE OBJECT OF THE ASSOCIATION IS TO PROMOTE RESEARCH INTO THE SCIENCE OF PREVENTING AND MITIGATING THE ADVERSE EFFECTS OF FIRES AND THE DISSEMINATION OF THE RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH.
