A. TO PROMOTE THE EFFICIENCY OF THE PARACHUTE REGIMENT AND THE OTHER AIRBORNE FORCES OF THE CROWN AND ENCOURAGE RECRUITMENT TO THE REGIMENT AND TO THOSE FORCES. B. TO RELIEVE EITHER GENERALLY OR INDIVIDUALLY PAST AND PRESENT MEMBERS OF THE PARACHUTE REGIMENT AND OTHER AIRBORNE FORCES OF THE CROWN AND THEIR DEPENDANTS WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS.
