The objects of the Fund are: 1. To enable the Musicians Benevolent Fund to care for musicians suffering from crippling and degenerative diseases by providing special facilities in their homes or helping with the costs of nursing care, accommodation or other needs. To finance the establishment of a music building at St Hilda's College, Oxford, where Jacqueline du Pre was an honorary fellow.
