TO PROMOTE THROUGHOUT THE WORLD: (A) THE RELIEF OF THE ELDERLY AND THE PHYSICALLY IMPAIRED IN NEED BY THE PROVISION, SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF EQUIPMENT, SERVICES AND TECHNIQUES WITH A VIEW TO MAINTAINING THEIR PHYSICAL AND MENTAL FUNCTIONS AND IMPROVING THEIR HOME SURROUNDINGS; (B) THE RELIEF OF THE ELDERLY AND THE PHYSICALLY IMPAIRED BY ADVANCING RESEARCH INTO AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF SUCH EQUIPMENT SERVICES AND TECHNIQUES; (C) THE EDUCATION OF THE ELDERLY AND THE PHYSICALLY IMPAIRED IN THE AVAILABILITY AND USE OF SUCH EQUIPMENT, SERVICES AND TECHNIQUES AND IN WAYS IN WHICH BY CHANGING THEIR LIFESTYLES THEY MAY THEMSELVES MAINTAIN AND IMPROVE THEIR PHYSICAL AND MENTAL FUNCTIONS; AND (D) THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE FIELDS OF GERIATRICS, GERONTOLOGY AND THE CARE AND ASSISTANCE OF THE ELDERLY AND PHYSICALLY IMPAIRED.
