TO RECEIVE SUBSCRIPTIONS, DONATIONS AND BEQUESTS AND TO PAY DONATIONS TO ANY BODY OR INSTITUTION ESTABLISHED FOR SOLELY CHARITABLE PURPOSES, WHETHER MASONIC OR NON-MASONIC AND ALSO TO ASSIST MEMBERS OF THE ST. LUKE'S LDOGE AND THE WIVES, CHILDREN AND OTHER DEPENDANTS OF SUCH PERSONS BEING IN NECESSITOUS CIRCUMSTANCES, BY MAKING GRANTS OR IN SUCH OTHER WAYS AS THE PERMANENT COMMITTEE SHALL THINK FIT.
