TO EDUCATE MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITY OR ANY OF ITS MEMBER STATES IN ALL MATTERS CONCERNING THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITY OR ANY OF ITS ACTIVITIES AND IN PARTICULAR TO INCREASE THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND APPRECIATION AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE IMPLICATIONS AND EFFECT OF THE SINGLE EUROPEAN ACT (OR ANY SUBSEQUENT RE-ENACTMENT OR MODIFICATION THEREOF) CONTAINING A COMMITTMENT TO SECURE AN INTEGRATED SINGLE MARKET WITHIN THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITY.
