TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION AND IN PARTICULAR THE INHABITANTS OF EASTBOURNE IN THE COUNTY OF EAST SUSSEX BY THE PROMOTION, PRESENTATION AND DISSEMINATION OF THE PERFORMING GRAPHIC AND VISUAL ARTS OR ANY OF THEM BY MEANS INTER ALIA OF THE CONSTRUCTION PURCHASE LEASE OR OBTAINMENT OF PREMISES TO SERVE AS A PERMANENT ARTS CENTRE TO HOUSE THE ABOVE-MENTIONED ACTIVITIES AND ANY COMPLEMENTARY FACILITIES.
