THE PROVISION OF BURSARIES PRIMARILY TO MALE CHILDREN FROM ANY ORPHANAGE OR SIMILAR INSTITUTION WHO SATISFY THE TRUSTEES THAT THEY HAVE ATTAINED (OR ARE CAPABLE OF ATTAINING) A REASONABLE STANDARD OF PROFICIENCY IN THEIR CHOSEN SUBJECT AND ARE LIKELY TO PROFIT BY TAKING A COURSE IN MEDICINE (INCLUDING IN THAT TERM DENTISTRY AND SURGERY) OR ENGINEERING AT A UNIVERSITY, MEDICAL SCHOOL, COLLEG OR OTHER INSTITUTION.
