To support the STEAM Museum of the Great Western Railway in Swindon in promoting the history and legacy of the Great Western Railway and in particular the railway works through a programme of investment, education and promotion. The Friends help with the cost of purchase, restoration and display of artefacts, carry out fundraising and promote the Museum through events, activities & publications.
