1 THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HACKNEY, PARTICULARLY BY AFRICAN PEOPLE. 2 TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION FOR THE INHABITANTS OF HACKNEY, IN PARTICULAR AFRICAN PEOPLE, IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE. 3 THE PROVISION OF WHO ARE IN NEED OF SUCH CARE AND ATTENTION.
