Charitable objects
(a) to promote the benefit and protect the interests of the inhabitants of Kings Langley and in particular Rucklers Lane and the neighbourhood together defined as in sub-paragraph (c) below (“the area of benefit") without distinction of gender, sexual orientation, race, or of political, religious or other opinions by associating together the said inhabitants and the local authorities and voluntary organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants. (b) to establish or to secure the establishment of a Community Centre (hereinafter called “the Village Hall") and to maintain and manage the same (whether alone or in co-operation with any local statutory authority or other person or body) for activities promoted by the Association and its constituent bodies in furtherance of the above objects. (c) The area of benefit shall be residences in Rucklers Lane and its immediate neighbourhood (being roads leading off Rucklers Lane up to but not including Barnes Lane) and as defined in Trust Deed 6th March 1967. (d) The Association shall be non-party in politics and non-sectarian in religion.
