THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE MUSEUM OF DARTMOOR LIFE IN OKEHAMPTON FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC AND TO PROMOTE AWARENESS OF HERITAGE AND CONSERVATION IN THE DARTMOOR AREA BY COLLECTING, RECORDING AND EXHIBITING MATERIAL RELATED TO THE HUMAN AND NATURAL HISTORY OF DARTMOOR AND THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES.
