(A) TO RELIEVE PERSONS SUFFERING FROM MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL DISTRESS IN SUCH WAYS AS SUGGESTED BY THE WESTMINSTER PASTORAL FOUNDATION THEREINAFTER CALLED WPF) AND WITHIN THE GUIDELINES AND STANDARDS OF THAT ORGANISATION. (B) TO PROVIDE EDUCATION AND TRAINING FOR THOSE ENGAGED OR WISHING TO BE ENGAGED IN COUNSELLING WITHIN THE GUIDELINES AND STANDARDS OF THE WPF. (C) TO PROMOTE AND CARRY OUT OR ASSIST IN PROMOTING AND CARRYING OUT, RESEARCH, SURVEYS, INVESTIGATIONS AND EXPERIMENTAL WORK, AND PUBLISH THE USEFUL RESULTS THEREOF AND OTHER REPORTS ON THE WORK OF THE ORGANISATION.
