THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS IN THE AREA OF DEVON AND CORNWALL IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PROVISION OF SPECIAL CARE BABY UNIT INCUBATORS, FOETAL HEART MONITORS, OTHER SPECIALIST MONITORS, INTENSIVE CARE STACKS AND OTHER NECESSARY FACILITIES, EQUIPMENT AND HEALTH CARE NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL HEALTH AUTHORITY FOR THE TREATMENT OF BOTH NATIONAL HEALTH AND PRIVATELY FUNDED PATIENTS OF THE SPECIAL CARE BABY UNIT AND MATERNITY DEPARTMENTS OF THE LOCAL HEALTH AUTHORITY.
