Charitable objects
(A)TO PROMOTE THE EFFICIENCY OF THE ARMED FORCES AND IN PARTICULAR THE CORPS OF ROYAL ENGINEERS (HEREAFTER REFERRED TO AS THE ROYAL ENGINEERS);(B) TO PROMOTE THE ACTIVITIES OF THE ROYAL ENGINEERS ASSOCIATION, THE INSTITUTION OF ROYAL ENGINEERS, THE ROYAL ENGINEERS MUSEUM AND THE ROYAL ENGINEERS HEADQUARTER MESS AS LAID DOWN IN THEIR RESPECTIVE CHARTERS;(C)TO FOSTER AN ESPRIT DE CORPS IN THE ROYAL ENGINEERS;(D)TO RELIEVE EITHER GENERALLY OR INDIVIDUALLY NECESSITOUS PERSONS BEING MEMBERS OF THE ROYAL ENGINEERS OR THE DEPENDANTS OF SUCH PERSONS (HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS BENEFICIAIRIES).
