TO ENCOURAGE THE PRESERVATION, DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF FEATURES OF GENERAL PUBLIC AMENITY OR HISTORIC INTEREST THE SOCIETY SHALL HAVE POWER TO DO ALL SUCH LAWFUL THINGS AS ARE NECESSARY FOR THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THESE OBJECTS.
