ASSISTING, OR IN SUPPORTING AND CARRYING OUT WELFARE WORK AMONG FEMALES WHO ARE IN NEED OF CARE OR REHABILITATION, PARTICULARLY AS A RESULT OF CRIME, DEPRIVATION, MALTREATMENT OR NEGLECT, OR WHO ARE IN DANGER OF SUCCUMBING TO MORAL CORRUPTION AND, WHERE NECESSARY RELIEVING THE NEED HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS OF THE CHILDREN OF SUCH FEMALES.
