ALMSHOUSES FOR POOR PERSONS OF GOOD CHARACTER WHO FROM AGE, ILL-HEALTH, ACCIDENT OR INFIRMITY ARE UNABLE TO MAINTAIN THEMSELVES BY THEIR OWN EXERTIONS: SPOUSES OR PARTNERS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR APPOINTMENT, PROVIDED BOTH ARE QUALIFIED AS AFORESAID.
