THE OBJECT OF THE FUND IS TO ASSIST PERSONS WHO ARE IN POVERTY OR FINANCIAL DISTRESS AND WHO ARE (1) WIDOWS AND ORPHANS OF MILITARY KNIGHTS; OR (2) SUPERNUMERARY KNIGHTS; OR (3) MILITARY KNIGHTS FOLLOWING THE DEATH OF A SPOUSE.
