GENERALLY TO PROMOTE AND ASSIST THE GENERAL GOOD OF ALL OLD PEOPLE IN THE URBAN DISTRICT OF RAYLEIGH AND TO ASSIST ANY CHARITABLE BODY OR BODIES FINANCIALLY OR OTHERWISE IN THE FURTHERANCE OF SUCH PURPOSES.
