PAYMENT OF PENSIONS TO POOR MEN AND WIDOWS BEING MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND OF NOT LESS THAN SIXTY-FIVE YEARS OF AGE OF GOOD CHARACTER WHO HAVE RESIDED IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT FOR NOT LESS THAN TEN YEARS NEXT PRECEEDING THE TIME OF APPOINTMENT. PREFERENCE SHALL BE GIVEN TO PERSONS WHO HAVE IN BUSINESS ON THEIR OWN ACCOUNT AND ARE QUALIFIED AS AFORESAID.
