TO PROMOTE THE ADVANCEMENT OF MICROSCOPICAL SCIENCE BY SUCH MEANS AS THE DISCUSSION AND PULBICATION OF RESEARCH INTO IMPROVEMENTS IN THE CONSTRUCTION AND MODE OF APPLICATION OF MICROSCOPES AND INTO THOSE BRACHES OF SCIENCE WHERE MICROSCOPY IS IMPORTANT.
