(A) THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE SCIENCE, ART, LITERATURE, MUSIC, HISTORY, ECONOMICS, PHILOSOPHY, CULTURE, WAY OF LIFE AND OTHER RECOGNISED SUBJECTS OF THE ACADEMIC STUDY OF THE COUNTRY OF GREECE; (B) THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND SICKNESS WITH PARTICULAR REGARD TO PERSONS WHO HAVE SUFFERED AS A RESULT OF DISASTERS WHETHER IN THE UNITED KINGDOM OR IN GREECE OR ELSEWHERE WHO ARE THEREBY IN NEED.
