(A) TO RELIEVE MENTAL OF PHYSICAL DISTRESS AMONG WOMEN WHO HAVE BEEN MALTREATED BY THEIR HUSBANDS OR THE MAN WITH WHOM THEY ARE LIVING AND AMONG THE CHILDREN OF SUCH WOMEN.
(B) TO RELIEVE POVERTY AMONG SUCH WOMEN AND CHILDREN OR WOMEN IN GENERAL BY SUCH MEANS AS THE COUNCIL OF MANAGEMENT MAY IN ITS ABSOLUTE DISCRETION DETERMINE.
