TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC BY PROVIDING AN EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENT TO FURTHER THE STUDY OF AND RESEARCH INTO THE HISTORICAL, ECONOMIC, GEOGRAPHIC, SOCIOLOGICAL AND CULTURAL ISSUES RELATING TO AND EFFECTING THE COUNTRY OF LEBANON AND LEBANESE PEOPLE AND THE DISSEMINATION OF KNOWLEDGE AND THE ENCOURAGEMENT AND PROMOTION OF TEACHIN IN ALL ASPECTS OF THE SAME IN CONNECTION WITH THE FOREGOING AND INTER ALIA, TO CREATE A LIBRARY OF ARCHIVES AND RECORDS RELATING TO LEBANON, TO ENCOURAGE AND ORGANISE SEMINARS AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL EVENTS CONCERNING THE SAME AND TO ISSUE BOOKS PAMPHLETS AND OTHER PUBLICATIONS RELATING TO THE WORK OF THE CENTRE.
