TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE FIELDS OF HISTORY, ARCHITECTURAL HISTORY AND ARCHAEOLOGY AND TO PROMOTE THE STUDY OF THESE FIELDS IN PARTICULAR WITHIN THE COUNTY OF CAMBRIDGE. TO SECURE THE PRESERVATION, RESTORATION, IMPROVEMENT, ENHANCEMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF FEATURES AND OBJECTS OF ARCHITECTURAL HISTORICAL OR ARCHAEOLOGICAL INTEREST.
