Activities - how the charity spends its money
Provided each year a small version of The Bedingfield Education Endowment Award cup to a child to keep in each Primary School in the three Parishes. The child is selected by the school staff as making the most educational progress in the year. Also awards to one deserving person in the three parishes when funds permit . Parishes of operation in county of Kent, Smeeth, Lyminge and Dymchurch.

Charitable objects
1) INCOME TO BE APPLIED IN APPRENTICING TO SOME PROFESSION TRADE OR CALLING BOYS AND YOUNG MEN WHO HAVE NOT REACHED THE AGE OF 25YRS. AND ARE RESIDENT IN THE BENEFICIAL AREA AND WHO IN THE OPINION OF THE GOVERNORS ARE IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. 2) IN PROMOTING THE EDUCATION OF PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 25 RESIDENT IN THE SAID PARISHES IN SUCH WAYS AS THE GOVERNORS THINK FIT.
